“I feel so happy in my home.”

A tenant | West Sussex

Frequently Asked Question’s

Is the rent affordable?

Yes, our rents are usually set in line with Local Housing Allowance (LHA)

  • Designed to stay affordable for tenants
  • Rent and utility statements are provided
  • Landlord’s contribution toward bills
  • No service charge or unexpected costs
  • No deposit
  • Rent will be due monthly

We won’t increase the rent more than once per year and will give you notice ahead of this change

Can I have a pet in my home?

You may be able to keep a pet, but this depends on the suitability of the property. Under UK law, tenants can request permission to keep a pet, and landlords must not unreasonably refuse — however, some supported living housing environments may have restrictions for safety or shared living reasons. Please contact us before getting a pet so we can review your request.

Do your properties have HMO licenses?

Yes – we hold valid HMO lincenses for all eligible properties.

  • Enjoy higher living standards and tenancy protections
  • Regularly inspected to ensure high safety and quality standards
  • Fire safety measures in place and routinely maintained
  • Properties meet space and amenity requirements for shared living
  • Clear management and maintenance standards

What type of tenancy agreement will I have?

You’ll have something called an Assured Shorthold Tenancy. This means:

  • Your tenancy will last at least 12 months to begin with.
  • After the first year, it will continue month by month (this is called a “rolling” or “periodic” tenancy).
  • You’ll have legal protection, and we’ll always give you proper notice if anything changes.
  • You can also end the tenancy with notice if your situation changes.
  • If tenants have an existing fixed-term AST when the Renters Rights Act (2026) takes effect, that tenancy will automatically convert to an assured periodic tenancy on 1 May 2026 without needing a new agreement to be signed. All new tenancies will commence on an assured period tenancy basis, not an AST.
